Culture of the Cherokee Tribe
Consisting of many traditions, dances,and ceremonies, the Cherokee religion is very specific and unique ("The Traditional Belief System").

Many numbers, such as seven and four, repeatedly occur in many myths, and oral legends.

They believed that evergreen trees, such as the pine, spruce, and holly, were given special powers because they kept their leaves and needles all year long.

The rivers were considered sacred.

The most basic concept of the Cherokee religion, like many other faiths, is that good deeds are rewarded and evil is punishable.
